The performer shows a black colour folder which consists of 6 sections.
When the folder is folded and then opened, it shows a picture of an orange Fanta can drink.
The folder is refolded, and when it is opened, a picture of a red can of Coca-Cola makes its appearance.
The folder is refolded one more time. When it is opened, a green can of Sprite is now seen on the folder. The folder is wrapped around itself like a cylinder. Magically, out of it drops a physical can of Sprite.
You receive the specially constructed black folder which allows you to cause the pictures of 3 different can drinks to appear on it one at a time, and a special holder for the real can drink. You are given a link to a 12 minutes video tutorial where Marcos Cruz teaches you 2 different routines with the folder.
The first routine is the production of the can drink from the folder as described. The second routine is a prediction effect. You need to construct a paper sleeve for the folder and 3 pieces of paper with the words “Coke”, “Fanta” and “Sprite” written on each of them. The paper sleeve and the 3 pieces of paper take less than one minute to make.
A spectator is asked to selected one of the 3 papers. A picture of whatever drink that was written on the selected paper will appear in the folder when it is taken out of the paper sleeve and unfolded.
The first routine is the more visual and impactfu effect. The second routine is rather weak especially when you use an origami folder as a prediction. (Rated 4/5 stars)
