“Spincredible” is an offbeat effect with playing card.
A spectator selects a card from a deck of playing cards. Let us say she selects the King of Diamonds. The performer places this card face downwards in-between the 2 transparent plates of a spinner. The 3 items are secured with a rubbr band.
The performer spins the device. When it stops spinning, the card is taken out. It is seen that the ink on the selected card has “stretched” on both the face as well as on the back, due to the centrifugal force generated during spinning. Both the selected card and the spinner can be examined.
You receive the special spinner, which comprises 2 transparent plates, the top plate has a handle and the bottom plate has a nubbin. You also receive 3 “stretched” cards: the King of Diamonds, the Nine of Hearts and the Three if Spades, and an illustrated printed sheet of instructions written by Max Maven. The 3 special cards are printed with red bicycle backs. You need to supply your own deck of red back bicycle cards.
The look of the spectator’s face at the “stretched” card is a testament to the wonder of this effect. The trick is easy to do. (Rated 5/5 stars)
