This is an interesting take on the classic Princess Card Trick.
You are supplied with a set of specially printed cards on Bicycle card stock and an instructional DVD taught by Bill Wisch himself.
Because of the cleverly designed cards, you can perform a repeat of the Princess card Trick. There is an interesting version entitled “Diminishing Princess”, where the packet of cards gets smaller (in quantity).
Bill Wisch incorporates his version of the Princess card trick in a routine he named “Simple Focus”. A deck is shuffled and the performer riffles down the deck for a card to be selected. Without looking at any of the cards, he can name the chosen card. This can be repeated with a different selection. The performer then takes out several cards and performs the Bill Wisch’s Princess card trick. The deck is shuffled one more time and fanned in a circular fan for one card to be mentally selected – no actual card is removed. Immediately, the performer can remove the selected card. The entire routine looks like real mind reading.
All the techniques for performing this routine are explained by Bill Wisch. You get to learn the “Thumb Grip Force”, the “Square Peek”, the “Vicinity Force” and the “Riffle Double”. The last technique is an interesting version of the double lift.
You can perform just the Princess card trick or the entire Simple Focus routine (recommended) where the Princess card trick is a part of. (4/5 stars rating)
