This is a visual, quick, stunning, and unusual card trick.

In effect, a small packet of playing cards is shown to have a hole in the form of a star punched through one index corner of every card in the packet. The joker, which sits on top of the packet, is shown to be the only card that does not have a hole.

The joker is replaced on top of the packet and a magical gesture is made. The joker card is removed and shown freely on both sides. The hole now completely vanishes from the packet of cards. Each and every card in this packet can be examined! This is typical Katsuya Masuda devious thinking.

The hole punched through the packet of cards is originally shown to be undeniably genuine. In the next instant, the hole vanishes and the cards can be examined.
The effect is straight-forward, the vanish is visual and truly unexplainable, and the handling is clean.
