DECKED OUT

The performer introduces a red-backed deck of cards and openly shows that every card is different and thoroughly mixed.

A spectator freely selects a card, which is then placed face down on the table.

The performer once again spreads the deck face up and points out that the selected card must now be different from all the remaining cards in the deck.

The spread is closed, and the deck is turned face down and spread across the table again. This time, the audience sees that the backs of all the cards have changed from red to blue.

However, the chosen card on the table still has a red back.

It is now clearly the only card different from the rest of the deck.

The performer then spreads the cards face up and explains that, since the cards are mixed in random order, it is difficult to determine which card is missing simply by looking through the spread.

The cards are gathered and spread face up once more.

Now, the deck has mysteriously arranged itself into new deck order.

There is a noticeable gap between the 6 of Clubs and the 8 of Clubs.

The chosen card resting on the table is finally turned face up.

It is indeed the 7 of Clubs.

What You Receive:

  • Specially printed gimmicked deck
  • 3 additional cards for alternate selected-card outcomes
  • Folded printed instruction sheet

This is a colour-changing deck effect with a strong kicker ending.

The supplied deck is a Hoyle deck. The colour change and automatic re-arrangement into new deck order are both visual and easy to perform.

However, because the deck is gimmicked:

  • It cannot be examined
  • It is not suitable for use with other card routines

A visual and commercial routine with a strong surprise finale.
