“The Predator Pack” is a deck of playing cards that can reveal any freely named card by a spectator.

The performer introduces his deck of cards. On one face of the card case, the performer has written the words “The trick with the two jokers”. The performer says he is going to perform a trick using 2 jokers.
A spectator names any one of the 52 cards. There is no force. Let us assume the spectator names the six of hearts, The performer takes the cards out of the case, fans through and removes the 2 jokers as well as the advertisement card. He tells the audience that before he comes to this venue, he took these 3 cards and wrote the name of a playing card. The 2 jokers and the advertisement card are turned over and on the backs of the 3 cards were printed “SIX” “OF” “HEARTS”! The performer spreads the entire deck face downwards and there are no other words written on the backs.

You receive the specially gimmicked deck in red bicycle maiden backs, and a link to a 32-minute video tutorial download. In the video, R. Paul Wilson discusses the genesis of this effect and mentions that the trick “Any Card” by Richard Sanderson uses similar method.
The tutorial is quite comprehensive. Paul describes 2 methods of working the effect. The trick is quite easy to do, but you need to get the knack of separating the joker from the other cards.
No cards need to be taken out of the deck. You simply reveal a card thought-of by a spectator. It is a novel way of revealing a chosen card. It will garner a strong reaction from the spectators.
The fact that Paul wrote “The trick with the two jokers” on the card case is a very good reason for justifying locating and taking out the 2 jokers. (Rated 5/5 stars)
